SEAI's Community Grant Programme
The SEAI Community Grant supports energy efficiency community projects through capital funding, partnerships, and technical support. It encourages collaborative applications from diverse groups, including residential, private, public, and community organisations.

SEAI Community GrantsSolar for Schools Programme
This programme provides funding for up to 6 kW of roof-mounted solar PV panels per school. The overall programme will see up to 24 megawatts of installed renewable energy provision on schools. Application and approvals process for schools applying is simple, clear and efficient via The Department of Education’s School Hub, an online platform. The programme aims to reduce energy costs and carbon footprints.
- Installation could expect to save in the region of €1,200-€1,600, including credit from selling surplus electricity
